Complete Vision Care is locally owned and operated and dedicated to purchasing from, employing, and serving local people. In fact, Complete Vision Care produces its lenses at its own own optical lens laboratory. We consider qualified candidates for the following positions:
Receptionist: The primary responsibilities of a receptionist include, but are not limited to: enthusiastically greeting and interacting with patients; ensuring patient paperwork is distributed and complete; scanning and updating patient information into the electronic medical record; cheerfully answering phones to assist the patient or direct calls to the appropriate staff in the office; understanding of insurance plans and pre-authorizations prior to patient appointments; triaging of emergency appointments; checking patients out for their visit and collecting payment; scheduling and confirming daily appointments; maintaining proper in-office flow of patients and delegating tasks to other team members to make the process as efficient as possible; and assisting in other areas of the office when needed.
Optometric Technician: The primary responsibilities of an optometric technician include, but are not limited to: enthusiastically greeting and interacting with patients; accurately operating equipment to assist the doctor’s exam; working with patient electronic medical records and accurately recording patient health information; communicating with the doctor about the findings and reason for the visit prior to the doctor examination; maintaining flow of the office by ensuring patients are attended to according to the patient schedule; assisting doctor in contact lens services, including training patients on how to proper wear and handle contact lenses; perform medical testing as requested by the doctor; adjust and dispense eyewear; and assisting in other areas of the office when needed.
Optician: The primary responsibilities of an optician include, but are not limited to: enthusiastically greeting and interacting with patients; expertly advising patients on the best frame and lens to fit the patient’s individual needs; recommending lens options based on the patient’s lifestyle and daily activities; adjusting, dispensing, and repairing eyeglasses; explaining and understanding insurance coverage to maximize the patient’s benefit based on the doctor recommendations; checking patients out for their visit and collecting payment; and assisting in other areas of the office when needed.
